Accura Glass is a leading North American custom glass and mirror fabricator. We put great effort in working with the most developed environmentally friendly glass materials, manufactured by the leading world glass companies, and certified according to the highest environmental standards in order to create some of the most unique glass products.

In our factory, we only fabricate decorative interior and architectural glass using float glass,
patterned glass, and mirrors manufactured by the leading glass makers Vitro Glass (including all glass products formally made under the brand of PPG Glass, NSG, and Walker Glass).

Vitro was the first U.S. glass manufacturer to have its entire collection of architectural glass products recognized by the Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Products Program and the first North American manufacturer to publish third-party verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for flat glass and processed glass products.

Walker Glass Company is the ONLY North American based manufacturer of acid-etched glass as well as acid-etched mirror and un-etched mirror to publish a third-party-verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and Health Product Declaration® (HPD®).

Pilkington North America has shown its commitment to energy conservation in building design and construction by partnering with the US Green Building Council to support the LEED®, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Building Rating System™.

Glass Recycling
and Life Cycle
Impact

At Accura Glass we are committed to recycle all monolithic glass materials that can not be used in production (broken glass, small size glass, offcuts, and more).

We are participating in a recycling program with one of the leading glass recycling companies Poraver.

All our monolithic glass offcuts are turned into a new material that has 100% recycled content.

EPD documents included:
* EPD NGA for all glass products sold in North America
* EPD Flat Glass
* EPD Processed glass products issued by VITRO Architectural Glass

Glass Bending

Our strength lies in custom, limited production glass bending.

We are able to produce both bent annealed and laminated safety glass. Thicknesses can range from 3mm up to 25mm in complex bent shapes or radiuses up to 180 degrees. Sizes can be up to 78” X 140” depending on the bend required.

Every piece of bent laminated glass we fabricate is processed through our CNC machine to ensure high polished edges and tolerances.

We produce our bent glass in our proprietary high-tech ovens through the use of custom fabricated molds. The process begins by slowly heating the glass to approximately 600°C. This allows for the glass to soften and embrace the shape of the mold. Then the glass is slowly cooled to avoid any internal stress. The mold plays a vital role in manufacturing bent glass as it determines the quality and angle of the curve.

The products we use are inherently non-emitting source of VOCs (stone, ceramic, powder-coated metals, plated or anodized metal, glass, concrete, clay brick, and unfinished or untreated solid wood) and has no binders, surface coatings, or sealants that include organic chemicals.
